What’s your privacy policy?

A new law was signed which states that: “Professional income tax practitioners are required to provide a notice of their privacy policies and practices to their customers annually. Tax practitioners are prohibited from disclosing nonpublic personal information about a consumer to nonaffiliated third parties unless the practitioner satisfies various disclosure and opt-out requirements and the consumer has not elected to opt out of the disclosure.”

To comply with this new law the following has been provided for your notice.

What This Privacy Policy Covers
This policy covers how ProFiler Consulting, LLC treats personal information that ProFiler Consulting, LLC collects and receives, including information related to your past use of ProFiler Consulting, LLC services. Personal information is information about you that is personally identifiable like your name, address, email address, phone number, and financial information that is not otherwise publicly available.

Information Sharing and Disclosure
ProFiler Consulting, LLC does not disclose any non-public personal information about our customers or former customers to anyone, except as instructed to do so by such customers, or as required by law.

Confidentiality and Security
We limit access to personal information about you to an affiliated financial service professional who we believe reasonably needs to come into contact with that information to provide products or services to you.

Changes to this Privacy Policy
ProFiler Consulting, LLC may update this policy. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by, at a minimum, having available an updated policy to view during next year’s appointment.
