Filing Your Tax Return
To start, you must send your tax docs to ProFiler Consulting. You can choose to mail, drop off, or submit your tax info online.
If you want an APPOINTMENT, you must send your documents beforehand. Clients are guaranteed a slot on the company calendar if submitted before April. Our team will reach out for appointment times.

Why can’t I book an appointment first?
Due to increasing tax complication, we feel it’s better for clients not to be confined to rigid appointment blocks. Additionally, due to COVID and Minnesota winter storms, we are moving to online services to protect our clients and staff. Our tax professionals will reach out to you and schedule a Zoom or phone meeting after we have received and entered your documents.
Can I submit my documents while I’m missing some forms?
Our paper and digital organizers are designed to help identify what information and documents to gather. Our online Smart Organizer (which is preferred) allows you to save your progress if you need to stop for any reason. Please do not submit the final work until all documents are attached, but we understand you may not have access to everything. Thank you!
How long will it take to finish my tax return?
We get to client submissions on a first come, first served basis. There are exceptions to this with a rush fee ($50+). Please indicate on your organizer you want this rush service. Most returns are processed within 7-10 business days – longer if there is missing information.
Who is working on my tax returns?
Our seasoned professionals are a mix of Enrolled Agents (highest designation for tax professionals) and supervisors that help ensure the quality of each tax return. We communicate with each client along the way, so you’re always in the loop. You can trust our family-owned and operated business model. We have been in business for over 40 years!
What happens after I submit my tax documents?
Once you submit your documents, our team starts the process of entering your data. We collaborate with our team to optimize your unique tax filing. Our professionals will email, call or text you regarding follow-up questions or concerns. Once we’re close to finishing, we will send a link to our appointment calendar. You can choose to just finish over email or make an appointment (Zoom or phone).
