How It Works for New Clients

  1. Submit the 2-minute consultation request (or call/text if you prefer).
  2. We confirm fit, answer your first questions, and provide your quote (see examples).
  3. Send your documents — secure upload or drop off at our office.
  4. Your preparer is assigned, reviews your file, and begins organizing and preparing your return.
  5. Your preparer connects by phone, email, text, Zoom, or in person if anything else is needed.
  6. Final review and sign-off, invoice/payment, and secure e-file.
  7. Year-round basic support; your returns and source documents remain in your secure portal.

Policies & Fine Print (Short Version)

  • Extensions: used when info is incomplete or near a deadline (extends time to file, not to pay).
  • Payment: due at filing; returns are released to e-file after payment is received.
  • Accuracy promise: if we cause an error, we’ll handle the amendment and cover our filing fees.

3. How long will it take to complete my return?

Turnaround time depends on the complexity of your situation and how organized your documents are. For most straightforward to moderately complex returns, our average completion time is within 6 business days from the start date. If your return requires additional work, we’ll keep you informed every step of the way.

4. Will you help me get the best refund or lowest tax liability?

Absolutely. We review every credit, deduction, and tax opportunity available to you. Our goal is to ensure your return is filed accurately and strategically so you keep more of your money and avoid overpaying in taxes.
