Business return pricing varies widely based on the company’s structure, recordkeeping, and overall level of activity. As a general guide, many well-organized businesses with straightforward year-end records begin around $1,200–$1,800 for the entity return.
Factors that tend to increase the fee include:
- Heavier transaction volume or multiple bank/credit card accounts
- Rental or investment activity held inside the entity
- Multi-state filing requirements
- Year-end adjusting entries and clean-up work
- Advisory-level needs (reasonable compensation, distributions, tax planning, etc.)
Companies with these characteristics typically fall in the $2,500–$5,000+ range. More complex organizations with significant activity or specialized reporting may be higher. These ranges are consistent with professional industry norms for EA- and CPA-led firms.
Bookkeeping and payroll services are billed separately. We begin with a brief business interview so we can review your records, understand your structure, and provide a precise quote tailored to your situation.
